Software Architecture Case Study: Organizational Success Factors
Reuse '96, July 1996
by Dave Dikel, David Kane and Steve Ornburn

Abstract: There is a growing body of knowledge about how to design and build a software or systems architecture, as evidenced in programs such as STARS. Yet, no published research addresses the organizational problems and solutions that can be learned from the long-term users of a software architecture. A STARS team, led by Applied Expertise, conducted a case study of a software architecture at Bell Northern Research to answer the question, after you've built a software architecture, how do you keep it alive?
